Hi ,

Sorry for the delay.

Firstly , try it a few times and check if it Datalogs ?

If it never appears on the log then we will look into this / enter a bug report.

General Discussion and Support / OBDII Software Mac Version
« Last post by kiwi_roy on June 28, 2019, 05:36:59 AM »
I'm new to OBDII
I recently purchased a OBDII to Bluetooth adapter, it came with a mini CD with OBDII software

When I plug it into an OBD connector (Honda CRV) and turn it on the Link light flickers then goes out.
When I check for new Bluetooth devices with my cellphone I don't see it.
Does the OBDII software need to be loaded.

I use a Mac, when I click on the files on the CD they do not open, do I need a different file?

Thanks in advance

Roy

General Discussion and Support / Datalogger - short&long term fuel trim
« Last post by Leiden on February 05, 2019, 09:22:46 PM »
Fuel trim live data screen display lean+ or lean- info in addition to fuel trim percentage.
I've performed a datalogger to get STFT & LTFT + a couple of other parameters but unfortunatly lean+/- info does not come with the fuel trim % which means it is not possible to know if engine ECU tries to get more or less gas into the engine.

Is there any means to get this info within the datalog ?
Thank you in advance

Does the free version have to be 2.5.7 specifically?

Sorry for any confusion , problems with com ports are related to the scantool hardware drivers not the OBDII software.

Our hardware is supplied with setup instructions and the com port drivers are automatically installed.

If you purchased the hardware from www.easyobdtools.com then we can help , if not you will need to seek com port driver help from the supplier of your device.

This is also a topic in our FAQ section.
